Denise A. Houghton has been helping people navigate their legal needs since 1992 and has been a sole practitioner since 2003. She is a member of the Ventura County Bar Association, Past President of the Ventura County Bar Association Famly Law Section, and currently serves as a Settlement Officer for Ventura County Superior Court Family Law Department.

As a member of the Los Angeles Collaborative Family Law Association, Ms. Houghton has handled countless contested hearings and trials in both Ventura and Los Angeles Superior Courts. She has been involved in brief preparation and acted as co-counsel in numerous Sixth District Appellate cases. Attorney Houghton has practiced family law, probate, and estate planning full time since her graduation from the Ventura College of Law. Ms. Houghton is also dedicated to her community, assisting in the Mock Trial program at Royal High School.
